Organizations benefit from payroll management systems by ensuring hassle-free/stress-free month ends and timely salary payments. Collaboration with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) led to the development of this groundbreaking initiative.

What is SAHAS?

SAHAS streamlines administrative operations at AIIMS, enhances transparency, and improves efficiency in financial and human resource processes. It sets a new benchmark for digital transformation in healthcare administration through several innovative features.

Key Features of SAHAS

The SAHAS system integrates multiple essential functions to provide AIIMS personnel with a seamless and transparent workflow. The following are some of its key features:

  • Unique Employee Identification: AIIMS employees will be assigned a PAN number-linked unique employee code, ensuring accurate workforce tracking and management.
  • HR Process Digitization: Using the platform, human resource management will be digitized, reducing paperwork and increasing employee access.
  • Financial Transparency: SAHAS enhances financial auditing and transaction monitoring, improving budget allocation, payroll processing, and fund bookings.
  • Optimized Resource Utilization: By integrating procurement, engineering, and financial management, the system improves hospital resource allocation and efficiency.

Pilot Phase Rollout – What to Expect

SAHAS pilot phase will begin on April 1, 2024, bringing several essential features to life:

  • Electronic Employee Records: Employee service records will be digitally maintained, ensuring easy access and efficient management.
  • Financial Management Integration: SAHAS will handle budget distribution, payroll processing, fund booking, and payment processing.
  • Procurement Digitization: SAHAS will replace the existing Procurement Digital Library, facilitating smoother and more transparent procurement processes.
  • Engineering Department Inclusion: Invoice processing will be handled by the system ensuring prompt and transparent payments for Engineering Department employees.

How to Access AIIMS SAHAS?

  • Select Organisation: AIIMS, Delhi.
  • Choose Login Method: Password Base or OTP Base.
  • Enter Credentials: Username/Email ID/Mobile No./PAN No. and Password.
  • Enter Captcha Code.
  • Click Sign In.
  • Forgot Password? Option available for recovery.

Transition and Implementation

Store and engineering-related invoice payments will be processed exclusively through SAHAS during the transition. AIIMS will maintain its old Tryton digital library in archival mode, but SAHAS will be the primary hub for all financial and procurement transactions.
