Project Research Scientist Recruitment Details
Position: Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical)
AIIMS is accepting applications for a three-year temporary position funded by the ICMR.
Project Title:
Identifying and Characterizing the m6A RNA Methylation Marks in Primary and Relapsed B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Essential Qualifications:
The following criteria must be met by candidates:
Qualification | Additional Requirements |
MSc in Life Sciences | Minimum 60% marks in the final exam + 3 years research experience |
PhD in Life Sciences | Preferred but not mandatory |
MBBS | 3 years research experience required |
MD | Relevant expertise in molecular biology experiments required |
Desirable Skills
- Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, Real-Time PCR, and cloning.
- Expertise in bioinformatics, including the analysis of transcriptomes, exomes, and custom data sets.
- Knowledge of various aspects of hematological malignancies and willingness to learn new ones.
Salary Package:
- Monthly salary of INR 87,100 (including HRA)
Age Limit:
- A maximum of 40 years (as per ICMR/AIIMS rules)
